Conditions
- Residents of Europe, the United Kingdom, Turkey and the Russian Federation are not eligible to purchase or use a Eurail Select Pass.
- All parties must be present when validating a Eurail Select Saver Pass
- Certain trains may transit through a country not covered by the pass. In that case an additional ticket must be purchased.
- Passholder fares for Premier trains are not applicable if the train is transiting through a country not covered by the Eurail Select Pass.
- Passes must be validated prior to first train journey or first use of a travel bonus.
- Passes must be validated within 6 months of issue date.
- 7:00pm rule: if a direct overnight train starts after 7:00pm on a validated Eurail Pass, the passholder must enter the next day's date on the pass, provided it falls within the validity of the pass.
- Seat reservation fees are an additional charge and are not inclusive in the cost of the pass.

Refunds
- Passes must be presented for refund unused and not validated.
- A 25% cancellation fee plus GST (only in Australia) applies to totally unused passes returned within one year of issuing date.
- No partial refunds.
- Eurail Select Passes cannot be reissued if lost or stolen.
